Tabitha Zone, Homebush
OVERVIEW
The Tabitha development, a state of the art commercial building in the Sydney West Precinct, incorporated Fricker Perforated Metal Pan suspended ceiling systems across the whole 30,000m2.
Fricker worked closely with Bovis Lend Lease’s design team to design and supply a metal ceiling consisting of several different size perforations and colours. A metal pan ceiling where tiles sit flush within the aluminium grid to eradicate shadowing and disruptions was designed.
Tiles were specially perforated to allow for the correct air flow to and from the chilled beams. The chilled beam ceilings and metal tiles were manufactured from steel containing 25 percent recycled content, which contributed to Bovis Lend Lease’s environmental requirements.
